How much does the Unit S3 training cost?

You can complete NRSWA’s Unit S3 for as little as £150 pp upfront - or you can choose to spread the cost over 12 or 24 months.  

 

How long does the Unit S3 accreditation last?

The accreditation lasts for five years and needs to be renewed after that. This applies to all NRSWA courses.

Do attendees have to complete all of the NRSWA units?

Not at all. While it’s beneficial for supervisors to complete all NRSWA units, it’s not compulsory. You can pick and choose the courses that best fit your team’s responsibilities.

Do you offer any other NRSWA courses for supervisors?

Absolutely! We offer the following supervisor courses:

  • S1: Monitoring signing, lighting and guarding
  • S2: Monitoring excavation in the highway
  • S4: Monitoring reinstatement of sub-base and base in non-bituminous materials
  • S5: Monitoring reinstatement in bituminous materials
  • S7: Monitoring reinstatement of modular surfaces, concrete footways

How will attendees be assessed?

They’ll be assessed through a combination of practical evaluations and theory tests.

How long does the course take?

This Streetworks course only takes 1 day to complete, so your team won’t be away from work for too long.

What do attendees need to bring?

Make sure they bring:

  • A valid form of ID, like a passport or driving licence.
  • PPE for the practical assessments, including high-vis vests or jackets, safety boots, a hard hat, safety gloves, and safety glasses.
