Your team can complete NRSWA’s Unit S2 for as little as £150 upfront - or you can choose to spread the cost over 12 or 24 months.
The accreditation lasts for five years and needs to be renewed after that. This applies to all NRSWA courses.
Not at all. While it’s beneficial for supervisors to complete all NRSWA units, it’s not compulsory. You can pick and choose the courses that best fit your team’s responsibilities.

That’s up to you! While many supervisors have completed NRSWA’s operative courses, it’s not always necessary.
Operative units are useful if you need supervisors to take on different roles on different jobs.
Just remember that an engineer can’t supervise themselves, so you’ll always need separate supervisors and operatives on site regardless of their NRSWA qualifications.
They’ll be assessed on both their theoretical knowledge and practical application of the skills they’ve learned. This includes a practical assessment and a written test.
