- You’ll need to be able to use a mobile phone
- To be able to oversee work, you will also need the relevant NHSS 12D accreditation. For example, to oversee work on a single carriageway, you’ll need the NHSS12D M1/M2 certification, which covers working on a single carriageway.
✍️ Description
This course has been developed to help you become a Lead Traffic Management officer.
As such, by the end of the course you will understand:
- The Temporary Traffic Management assessment process
- How to assess and determine the traffic management layout required for a given works location
- How to plan the requirements for a range of traffic management layouts, calculate the equipment requirements and assess the standard of equipment that is acceptable to use
- The need to monitor the changing conditions of the site and carry out the appropriate remedial actions
- Their own limitations and decide when management intervention is required
- How to provide practical support to RTMOs, as and when required
