You’ll need to be able to use a mobile phone
To be able to oversee work, you will also need the relevant NHSS 12D accreditation. For example, to oversee work on a single carriageway, you’ll need the NHSS12D M1/M2 certification, which covers working on a single carriageway.

✍️ Description

This course has been developed to help you become a Lead Traffic Management officer.

As such, by the end of the course you will understand:

The Temporary Traffic Management assessment process
How to assess and determine the traffic management layout required for a given works location
How to plan the requirements for a range of traffic management layouts, calculate the equipment requirements and assess the standard of equipment that is acceptable to use
The need to monitor the changing conditions of the site and carry out the appropriate remedial actions
Their own limitations and decide when management intervention is required
How to provide practical support to RTMOs, as and when required
